If you have questions, please do not hesitate to give us a call so that we may best serve you.

How do I know if therapy is right for me?

Therapy can be beneficial for anyone experiencing emotional distress, relationship difficulties, life transitions, stress, grief, trauma, or simply wanting to better understand themselves. You don't have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Many people seek counseling to improve communication, build coping skills, increase self-awareness, and enhance their overall well-being.

What can I expect during my first session?

Your first appointment is an opportunity for you and your therapist to get to know one another. You'll discuss what brought you to therapy, your personal history, current concerns, and your goals for treatment. Together, you'll begin creating a personalized plan to help you move toward healing and growth.

3

How long does therapy last?

The length of therapy varies depending on your goals and individual needs. Some clients benefit from short-term therapy focused on a specific concern, while others choose longer-term support for ongoing personal growth or more complex issues. Your therapist will regularly review your progress with you throughout treatment.

There are a few legal exceptions to confidentiality, such as concerns involving imminent danger, abuse reporting requirements, or court orders. Your therapist will review these exceptions with you during your first appointment.
