A Bit About Me

Life can be overwhelming at times, but you don't have to navigate it alone. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel seen, heard, and accepted exactly as you are. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where we can work together to better understand your experiences, build on your strengths, and help you move toward the life you want.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I have more than nine years of experience supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds through life's challenges. I currently serve Veterans and their families within the Department of Veterans Affairs while also providing outpatient psychotherapy through my private practice. Throughout my career, I have worked in crisis stabilization, community mental health, trauma-informed care, and outpatient therapy, giving me experience helping clients during both everyday struggles and life's most difficult moments.

My therapeutic approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and tailored to each individual. I integrate evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and trauma-informed care to help clients develop practical tools, increase self-awareness, and create meaningful, lasting change.

I work with adolescents, adults, and older adults experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, grief and loss, life transitions, adjustment difficulties, self-esteem concerns, emotional regulation challenges, and relationship concerns. I also have extensive experience supporting individuals experiencing serious mental illness, crisis situations, and suicidal ideation through comprehensive assessment, safety planning, and coordinated care.

Above all, I believe that healing happens within authentic relationships. Whether you're beginning therapy for the first time or returning after time away, I strive to provide a space where you can feel safe, empowered, and hopeful as we work together toward your goals.

Professional Values

I am committed to providing compassionate, culturally responsive, and evidence-based care. I value authenticity, collaboration, and creating a therapeutic space where clients feel respected, empowered, and supported throughout their healing journey.
